Leadership For Our Shared Future

Students Thrive. Parents as Partners. Results That Matter.

A leader who believes every student deserves the opportunity to discover their own potential.

Quana Hall - Beverly for PSUSD Trustee Area 5

Meet Quana Hall-Beverly

Mother. Wife. Bruin. Youth & Community Advocate. Business Executive.

My commitment to education started long before I ever imagined running for school board. It started with my grandmother.

Growing up, I remember staying up at night waiting for her to come home from a long day at work so she could review my schoolwork. She was patient with me, but she expected me to do my best.

When I got my test grades at the end of the week, I couldn't wait to call her at work and tell her how I did. I can still remember hearing the pride in her voice.

At first, I worked hard because I wanted to make her proud. But somewhere along the way, something changed. I started to feel that same pride in myself. I began to understand that I was capable of accomplishing great things.

That's something I've carried with me ever since.

Today, as a mother and through my work with young people and families, I see just how powerful it is when a child has someone who believes in them, challenges them, and helps them recognize their own potential.

As Executive Director of We Are One United, I've had the opportunity to work alongside students, parents, schools, and community partners.

I've listened to parents who want to be more involved but don't always feel comfortable engaging with their children's schools. I've seen students who simply needed someone to notice their potential. And I've seen what can happen when schools, families, and communities truly work together.

That's why I'm running for the Palm Springs Unified School District Board of Education, Trustee Area 5.

I want our students to receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive. I want parents to know that their voices matter and that they are true partners in their children's education. And I want us to look closely at the decisions we make, the programs we fund, and the resources we invest to make sure they are actually improving outcomes for students.

For me, this campaign comes down to three things:

Students Thrive.

Parents as Partners.

Results That Matter.

Because every child deserves the chance to discover what my grandmother helped me discover in myself:

I am capable.

I can succeed.

And my future is worth investing in.

Students Thrive

Every student deserves the support, opportunity, and encouragement to reach their potential. We will focus on academic achievement, college and career readiness, robust student support, elevating student voice, and providing rich enrichment and opportunity for all.

Parents As Partner

Parents shouldn’t navigate the education system alone. We will prioritize family engagement, clear communication, and parent voice while removing barriers through school–community partnerships. Parent engagement isn't an event on the school calendar. It's a partnership.

Results That Matter

Good intentions aren’t enough; we must ask if investments produce results. We prioritize student outcomes, responsible budgeting, program accountability, transparency, and measuring progress. Every dollar should have a purpose. Every program should have a purpose. And every student should have an opportunity to succeed.
